Nora Fowler has been involved with volleyball since high school where she also played three other sports.  She developed her passion for volleyball in college and played for 2 more years at the collegiate level. She has since been coaching volleyball for over 25 years in a variety of locations, mostly around the Athens area. She has helped many girls grow, develop, and continue on to play at the collegiate level as well.

She has coached at the varsity level at schools such as Athens Christian Schools, Hilsman Middle School, and Cedar Shoals High School. Nora currently teaches Health and Physical Education and coaches at Oglethorpe County High School where she is starting this program from scratch.  This will be her second time starting or restarting a volleyball program.

Her passion lies in seeing girls grow in the sport and develop a deep love for the game.  This will be her third year coaching club volleyball and she has been working hard to better herself as a coach and learning how to teach the games at all different ages!
